My 11 pro max just drains battery like crazy. When looking at the battery usage stats - I just cannot believe that the numbers are true! I mean, I’ve just replaced the battery and the battery monitoring app tells me that because I looked at Telegram for 7 min - 10% was gone. 15 min of google maps - minus 14%, 36 min of reading text on Safari
Had my iPhone 13 Pro Max around a year, and even with busy day-to-day use, I’d rarely need to recharge before bedtime. I upgraded to ios16 last week, and geez, I’ve been charging my phone at least twice a day, if not 3 times!!! Also, my battery health has dropped from 93% to 90% in literally 7 days! Has anybody else noticed this?
These posts saying the battery life is good are weird? i come from 11 pro max and I would have to WORK to kill the battery, using lots of camera etc. On this one, 13 pro begs for charger by the time its 17:00. I disabled so many background tasks, some location things, etc. The battery life is good, but not the WOW people are mentioning on twitter.
Seeing that I commented on this thread about the issues I had with my iPhone 14 Pro Max 16.1 I thought I would send an update. I called Apple and had my phone replaced - this literally solved every issue I experienced with iOS 16.1 and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Day 1 has been fantastic so far. Knock on wood and fingers crossed.
To use go to settings/privacy/analytics & improvements/analytics data and look for an entry named “log-aggregated-2021-08-10-xxxxxxx” or similar and click the arrow to display it. iPhone 12 Pro Max here. Got it day 1 - November 11, 2020 Battery health at 97% after 4 months with nightly charging. Looking through battery history, on time is 7.5 hours+ before I get to 10%. Never let it drain all the way.
Compared to the 12, the 11 Pro's advantage is the brighter display, telephoto lens, and longer battery life. the 12's advantage is 6m water resistance as opposed to 4m, ceramic shield glass, and 5G. And also A14. Larger display and better battery life. Only reasons I can see.
