I find enjoyable the first time I started it up years ago. Begun with a controller, moved to the G27 wheel, wich is much more enjoyable to use in racing games, and now on my Moza Racing stuff on a fixed rig. Assetto Corsa VR Review. Assetto Corsa has a good reputation and pedigree as a driving and racing game. Played traditionally on a flat screen it can be both easy and hard to see why. The graphics are great, and the cars feel nice to drive.
I can't play any racing game using a gamepad, not even the most arcade. It's a wheel (for the most hard and realistic) or a keyboard for me. And using auto gears, auto break, abs and traction control removes a lot of the racing fun and makes racing very boring.

I did this run on the Xbox One Controller. So it is actually possible to play AC on a controller. If youve never played any sim on a controller i wouldnt recommend it though.
